Manchester United's Act 33 miners chile to Old Trafford

LONDON: Premier League teams in the English giants, Manchester United, has submitted its invitation to 33 Chilean miners who survived after several weeks trapped underground, to attend one of their matches.Invitation was conveyed to the President of Chile, Sebastian Pinera, during a weekend meeting in London with the club manager, Sir Alex Ferguson and Rafael Guilisasti, Vice Chairman of the Sponsorship Vina Concha Y Toro.
"The miners were invited to attend the Premier League teams in the stadium, Old Trafford, in 2011," said Vina Concha y Toro on Sunday in a statement.
Ferguson also gave a costume Pinera writing teams with players' signatures at the meeting.
"Encouragement, courage and resilience of the miners and rescue team members so inspiring. It is an honor to be able to invite them to Old Trafford," he said.
Pinera arrived in London on Saturday and will also visit Paris and Berlin, after a dramatic rescue last week for the miners trapped for 69 days in a mine in the Atacama region, Chile.
On Monday, he met with Prime Minister David Cameron in Downing Street and is scheduled to meet with Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace
